PA 19-Year-Old Motorcyclist ID'd After Fatal Pickup Collision: Coroner

A 19-year-old motorcyclist has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash, the Lancaster County Coroner announced on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Brandon Michael Wenger, 19, of Stevens, was involved in a collision with a pickup truck on Route 322 in Earl Township on the evening of Oct. 8, according to the release. 

Wenger was taken to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:38 p.m. on Oct. 9, according to the coroner.

The cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries and the manner of death was ruled an accident, the coroner said.

Brandon was "protective, ever ready for an adventure, a loyal friend and brother, and one who looked out for and included others," as stated in his obituary published by the Furman Funeral Home

He enjoyed hiking, riding his motorcycle, working at Sonrise Poly, and hobby mechanic projects, according to his obituary. 

"Brandon was very generous and social, happy to share time, resources, and experiences with others," as stated in his obituary. 

He is survived by his parents, six siblings, and grandparents. 

His funeral was held at Charity Christian Fellowship located at 59 South Groffdale Road in Leola at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14.
